Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about A&C, Contributions, and the Mutual Aid.

What is A&C?

A&C is a non-profit organization that facilitates a community-based mutual aid program, where members contribute small amounts to provide immediate cash assistance to the family of a member who passes away.

Mutual aid is the practice of members helping each other directly. Whenever a co-member dies, all active members contribute a small amount so the family receives support right away, and the same is done for you when it’s your family’s turn to receive it.

Cash Assistance is the Php 120,000 lump sum given immediately to the family of a deceased member, gathered through the small contributions of fellow members at the time of death.

A contribution is the small amount, ranging from Php 0.63 to Php 5.80, that active members give whenever a co-member passes away. It’s requested only when needed, never on a fixed schedule.

Any Filipino citizen aged 10 and up can join, with no restrictions based on physical or health conditions.

Every member needs a personal A&C Online Platform account to send and track contributions securely, keep a record of their membership history, and stay updated on requests.

After completing the 90-day Probationary Period, you become a Regular Member and are eligible. You stay qualified as long as you don’t accumulate 3 pending contribution requests or decline a request.

Contribution rates range from Php 0.63 to Php 5.80 per co-member’s passing, depending on the day’s death count and total membership size. There are no fixed bills, you only contribute when it’s needed.
